Robert Laurence

Chairman

A qualified barrister, Robert advises on company strategy, capital and property-investment. Prior to joining Urban Vision, Robert spent over 10 years at Argent Group, becoming investment director in 1990. Following the acquisition of Argent Group in 1997 by the British Telecom Pension Scheme (Hermes) and with the backing of Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, Robert and other executives from Argent Group established Resolution Property.  Resolution has established itself as a well-respected pan-European real estate platform, deploying over £1.9 billion of discretionary capital on behalf of leading endowments, foundations and institutions.  In 2015, Resolution became a subsidiary of Fosun Group, one of the largest conglomerates in China.

Nigel Robson

Director

Nigel brings over 30 years of experience specialising in the repurposing of existing buildings through intensive asset management strategies.  Prior to establishing Urban Vision, Nigel was a founding partner at Resolution Property for 15 years, a well-respected pan-European real estate platform where over £1.9 billion of discretionary value-add capital was deployed on behalf of leading endowments, foundations and institutions. Prior to this, Nigel was an executive at Argent Group.

Nigel’s strengths lie in the identification of new projects, underwriting, structuring, financing, and the formulation and implementation of asset management plans across all real estate sectors.

Mark Owen

Director

Mark has over 35 years of experience and has spent his career delivering developments throughout the UK and Continental Europe.  Mark has been instrumental in the success of many significant and innovative projects that have transformed towns and local economies, ranging from sub-regional shopping centres, headquarter office buildings, residential mixed-use and leisure developments.

Mark’s strengths lie in his in-depth knowledge of the development process and his extensive exposure to international markets that provides him with a strong appreciation of the intricacies and dynamics of different markets.

Mark is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Kieran Mitchell

Director

Neil Ramage

Finance Manager

As a qualified Chartered Accountant, Neil is responsible for Urban Vision’s finances and is closely involved in the management of its third-party capital.  In a career spanning 30 years, Neil has extensive experience working in the real estate sector, most notably as Finance Director at Castlemore and as founding partner of Blenheim Partners Chartered Accountants where he has acted on behalf of HNWI’s and Family Offices with extensive exposure to the real estate market.

Neil has considerable expertise in the tax efficient planning of development projects and investments within the commercial and residential property sectors.  With his hands on experience, Neil understands both the day-to-day demands, long-term objectives and governance and regulatory requirements of real estate.

Neil is an ICAEW regulated Chartered Accountant.

Widya Van Der Voort

Marketing Manager

Widya has worked in the marketing industry for over 15 years and has a strong understanding of real estate through her time at ING Real Estate in The Hague.

Widya has been responsible for spearheading several major marketing and PR campaigns, dealing with website content editorial, and producing video and presentation material for events and individual real estate projects.

Whilst responsible for all marketing and PR, Widya also provides invaluable administration and finance support to the team.

Stuart Jenkin

External Advisor

Stuart brings over 45 years of direct real estate investment and development experience, having acquired over £2 billion of real estate across all sectors and throughout the UK.

Stuart spent 20 years as a Director and Investment Committee Member at Frogmore, a leading UK Real Estate Fund Manager.  Stuart was responsible for the formation of three private equity real estate funds, raising over £900 million from leading institutional global investors.  As Managing Director of Joint Ventures, Stuart was also responsible for investment acquisitions and the structuring and management of all joint ventures.

Prior to Frogmore, Stuart spent over 20 years in the City of London with Abbey Life Assurance Company and Provident Mutual Life Assurance Association (now part of Aviva) and was then Head of Real Estate at Siemens responsible for over 6 million sq. ft of UK real estate.

Stuart is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Investment Property Forum.  Presently, he is a Trustee, Consultant and Non-Executive Director of several charitable and private organisations.
